Gamets

Gamets has a very unique look. His skin is light blue with orange eyes that almost never change expression. He has a turtle shell on his back, with green armor on his head, arms, and legs.

On his chest and stomach, he wears yellow armor shaped like a turtle's belly. As a warrior, he stands tall and sturdy, giving off the feeling of someone ready for battle at all times.

In his final form, Gamets breaks his own shell limiter, making his body even larger and more muscular. He grows longer hair and his armor changes shape. His appearance is more fearsome and smart-looking in this ultimate form.

Gamets follows the warrior code, respecting strength above everything else. He is very polite and speaks like a samurai, but he thinks that the strong have the right to rule over the weak.

To him, darkness is the strongest force, so he uses his power without any guilt, attacking even weaker targets if that's his mission. He gets excited to fight strong enemies and prefers fair, direct battles over sneaky tricks.

Gamets is always loyal to Dokurokushe, following orders without question. While he admires strong fighters, he has no sympathy for the weak. He believes that a world ruled by darkness and strength would be perfect.

After his defeat, he is able to accept that there are other forms of strength beyond power, and feels proud of his fight with Precure.

Gamets first appears in Witchy Precure! Episode 4, created by Dokurokushe from a turtle using dark magic. He wears armor that looks ancient, and is the strongest and most aggressive of the Dokurokushe generals.

Unlike Batty or Sparda, who use tricks, Gamets only wants to fight strong enemies, like the Precure, and prefers head-on battles instead of searching for the Linkle Stone Emerald.

Often, he meets Mirai Asahina and Liko Izayoi when they cannot transform, but he believes they are not transforming on purpose to challenge him. When they do transform or get new powers, he happily welcomes the fight.

Gamets also has some funny and cheerful moments, especially after he loses.

Gamets is trusted by Yamoh for his fighting power. He uses super strength and his turtle shell to spin really fast.

He is considered the strongest out of the three first generals and is able to knock down Precure a few times, but never finishes the fight quickly. He never runs to attack, maybe because he is still a turtle at heart, but can jump and use speed attacks this way.

His big weakness is if he falls on his back, it’s hard for him to get up.

In his final form, Gamets becomes even stronger and bigger. By breaking his shell limiter, he lets out all his power, making him much harder to beat. He uses strong punches, stomping attacks, and his defense gets better too.

Arrival as Dokurokushe’s General

Gamets appears in episode 4 as one of Dokurokushe's generals.

He prefers fighting strong opponents over looking for the Linkle Stone Emerald and wants to face Precure fairly.

Sometimes, Mirai and Liko cannot transform when he attacks, but Gamets thinks they are holding back on purpose and wants them to get serious.

When they transform, he feels happy and excited.

He ignores Batty’s doubts about Dokurokushe, staying loyal to his master.

Battles With Precure

He works out strategies based on his own experience instead of written reports. When Mirai and Liko power up, Gamets enjoys facing their new strength and views every duel as a test of power.

He is the kind of enemy who lets his opponents battle at their best, even if that means waiting or missing a chance to win quickly.

Final Form Showdown

In episodes 17 and 18, Gamets secretly grabs a Linkle Stone Garnet during a fight, then sends a formal challenge to Precure, asking for a fair duel for the stone.

He waits on the “farthest island” in the Magic World, but the place is so far that he gets frustrated waiting.

When Mirai and Liko arrive, he breaks his shell limiter and transforms into his final form.

He tells them to become Ruby Style so they can fight at full power—he wants a pure contest of strength.

Gamets crushes them at first, talking about how dark magic is the strongest.

When Precure are in trouble, Ha-chan bravely stands against him, but Gamets calls her weak.

Ha-chan’s courage helps Mirai and Liko recover.

Together, they beat Gamets using the “Precure Ruby Passionare” attack.

Gamets is purified and returns to being a turtle, feeling content that he fought his hardest and learned there are other kinds of strength.

Batty picks him up and hides him for safety, later letting him return to the ocean.

Resurrection and Later Battles

In episode 44, Sparda captures the turtle and uses Orba’s magic book to revive Gamets (and Batty), bringing him back right in his final form.

Even as a turtle, he was enormously strong—he could punch away sharks much bigger than him.

At first, Gamets is not interested in fighting again since he’s satisfied with his old Precure duel.

But when he learns a new Emerald Precure (Cure Felice) has appeared, he wants to fight her.

He faces Cure Felice and, during their match, realizes she is the grown-up Ha-chan, the “little one” who once stood up to him.

He immediately respects her strength.

Orba, however, does not let Gamets fight freely and even mocks him, saying Gamets was created only as a pawn.

Still, Gamets doesn’t care—he believes in his own fists.

He and Sparda try to fight the Donyokubaru summoned by Orba, but are defeated and turned back into animals.

Batty revives Gamets as a “Mottoyokubaru” monster, and together they defeat Donyokubaru.

After these battles, Batty takes care of him as a turtle.

Even then, Gamets hasn’t changed—he sneaks near Precure to challenge them again, but since he is still a turtle, nobody understands what he wants.

Other Appearances

In the Witchy Precure! stage show, Gamets is revived by Labut, but is purified and defeated again.

He sometimes appears in comedic scenes, like mistaking a ball for a battle arena.
