Turles is cold, clever, and dangerous, and his story shows what Goku would be like if he stayed like a true Saiyan.

The North Kaioh senses trouble and tells Goku and his friends to check it out.
Turles tries to win Goku and Gohan over.
He says things like, “Wandering the universe, destroying planets, eating and drinking what you want—this is the best life!”
When Goku refuses, Turles throws a Power Ball to transform Gohan into a Great Ape, forcing a fight between child and parent.
He quickly destroys the Power Ball so he doesn’t transform himself and lose control.
Turles' Power and The Final Battle
Turles fights Goku, easily winning because of the Tree of Might fruit's power.
Even Goku’s Kaio-ken x10 isn’t enough to hurt him.
Turles keeps attacking Goku, shooting energy blasts at close range without mercy.
He ignores Piccolo and the others, even deflecting Goku’s first Spirit Bomb.
But when Goku collects more power from the Tree and uses a second Spirit Bomb, Turles can’t win.
He gets hit by the Spirit Bomb, is thrown into the Tree, and explodes with a loud scream.
Ironically, Turles is beaten by the power he stole from Earth.
Turles in Games
Turles appears in many Dragon Ball games.
In "Dragon Ball Heroes", all members of the Crusher Corps show up.
He can power up using the Tree of Might fruit or transform into a Great Ape.
Games often show special conversations with other Saiyans, like teasing Vegeta or arguing with Broly.
In "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," Turles is even revived with the help of the dark scientist Towa and works with Slug. He fights against Goku and Trunks in changed timelines.
He sometimes acts as a mentor to the player, trying to recruit them as a real member after seeing their power.
In "Dragon Ball Legends," Turles appears as a super-strong Ultra unit, with amazing defense and the unique ability to revive once after being defeated.
Turles’ lookalike face is explained by the creator as because there are only a few types of Saiyan faces, especially among low-class warriors.
His character was created to explore what Goku would be like if he grew up as a real Saiyan and never lost his violent personality.
Goku says he’s lucky not to have become like Turles in their fight.
