Idol Rabier is a noble from a neighboring town, an advocate of demi-human exclusion, and a former soldier who wields a whip as his weapon. He takes pleasure in torturing demi-human slaves and has a history of abusing Raphtalia, Keel, and Rifana. He confessed to killing Rifana and revealed his role in the destruction of Lurolona Village, causing Raphtalia deep emotional scars.
To lure out Naofumi Iwatani’s party, he kidnapped Melty Q Melromarc and Van Reichnott. When Naofumi and his companions pursued a rescue, Idol Rabier was cornered and was ultimately stabbed by Raphtalia before falling out of a window. In utter despair, he broke the seal on the Tyrant Dragon Rex, which had been sealed away by a previous Hero, but was instead crushed to death by the very monster he unleashed.
