Shakince is a male villain from "Witchy Precure!" who is based on a crow tengu. He is one of the servants of the endless chaos entity, Deusmast. Shakince appears with green skin, long light green hair, and black wings. He is known for his traditional way of speaking, calm attitude, and deep loyalty to Deusmast. Despite being serious and strict with his allies, he often finds himself in comical situations that add depth to his character. Shakince believes that only the power of "Muhou" is worthy, looks down on humans and their emotions, and is determined to destroy all opposition, especially the Precure. He has strong magical powers including creating storms and special spaces. Even after many battles, Shakince’s fate is to be defeated by the Precure and eventually absorbed by Deusmast.
Shakince has a slim build and green skin, with long, light green hair kept in a ponytail. He has sharp, red eyes, stylish makeup, and wears dark, traditional Japanese-style clothing. Rings hang from both ears, and he carries a fan shaped like a fatsia leaf. He has one pair of large, black wings on his back. In his final form, his body becomes larger and more muscular, his wings increase to four pairs, and his hair stands upright. His color turns a darker green, his eyes become all green, and his arms gain feather-like shapes.
Shakince speaks with old-fashioned words, ending his sentences with "de aru" which means "it is." He refers to himself as "ware," an old way to say "I." He is usually calm and takes his mission very seriously. His loyalty to Deusmast is absolute, and he believes only "Muhou" matters. He often scolds his fellow servants, especially Labut and Benigyo, for being lazy or foolish. Because he is so strict and obsessed with his orders, others sometimes feel annoyed by him. Still, he is also smart and knows when an enemy could become a threat in the future. Shakince often tries to plan ahead and values a perfect, overwhelming victory for Muhou.
Shakince is one of the magical fiends serving Deusmast. Before the main story, he was sealed inside a roadside guardian statue in a cave somewhere in the Non-Magic World. The approach of Deusmast caused him, and Benigyo, to awaken.
Shakince uses the power of Muhou to create powerful wind attacks from his hands and can generate special green spaces where he controls the battle. He can also show scenes from the past using his abilities. His final form allows superhuman strength, the skill to create shocking force waves, and crush enemies with huge hands and feet. He is careful in battle, giving orders from a distance or controlling his monsters, called Donyokubaru.

Awakening and First Encounters
Shakince first appears in episode 30, still sealed in a statue, with only his spirit awakened. He can observe and communicate telepathically but cannot act physically. He watches Labut’s defeat and decides that Precure are a real threat that must be eliminated. In episode 32, Shakince breaks the seal and revives his body, joining the fight for real.
Everyday Life Mix-Ups
Shakince tries to confront Mirai Asahina and friends several times, only to be ignored or mistaken for something else. For example, when the girls are on their way to buy melon bread, they walk past Shakince, saying, "Now is not the time," or "Read the mood," which hurts his pride. Once, he is even mistaken for a runaway pumpkin bird and gets caught in a net by mistake.
Confrontation with the Precure
As Shakince regains his full power with Deusmast’s approach, he becomes more dangerous and serious. He traps the Precure in a special space, beats them down, and shows them visions of destroyed worlds to break their spirits. He wants not just to defeat them physically, but to crush their hearts as well. However, thanks to strong feelings for their loved ones, the girls unlock new power and escape his trap.
The Final Form and Last Battle
When Shakince is fully restored, he pushes his power to the limit, becoming a huge, stronger form with eight black wings. He sets out to destroy Precure once and for all. Chikurun, who is spying for Orba, promises to steal the Linkle Stones (Precure’s magical gems) to keep Shakince from attacking the girls. Chikurun succeeds, but Shakince plans to break his promise and crush the powerless girls anyway. He swallows the Linkle Stones to keep the girls from transforming. Chikurun bravely jumps down Shakince’s throat to recover the stones, returns them to the girls, and lets them fight back. Shakince is hit by a giant hammer summoned by Mirai Asahina in Topaz Style and finally defeated with the "Precure Extreme Rainbow" attack. He cannot believe his own defeat and is sent away with a loud cry.
Endpoint
After his defeat, no one mourns Shakince. Both Benigyo and Orba show no emotion for his fall, as is common for the servants of Deusmast. In episode 47, he is revived along with Labut and Orba, but this time only as a shell used by Deusmast, not with his own will. In the last showdown, as Deusmast is purified by the Precure, Shakince also vanishes.
Name and Motif
Shakince is modeled after a crow tengu from Japanese legends. However, unlike traditional tengu, he does not have a long nose or a beak. There are different ideas about Shakince's name. Some think it comes from "aventurine," a gemstone called "sand gold stone" in Japanese. Others think it may come from "shark." The servants of Deusmast are inspired by supernatural beings and legends from different global traditions.
Shakince's most used phrase is "Crush!" and he wants to defeat his enemies completely. Even though he is always serious, he sometimes ends up in funny situations when daily life gets in the way of his plans. Even with all his power and determination, he never manages to beat the Precure in the end.
