David (デイビッド Deibiddo) is a minor character appearing in the anime series Code Geass: Akito the Exiled. He is a doctor from the United Republic of Europia and an old colleague of Sophie Randle and her husband, Takeru Randle.
David is an old acquaintance of the Randles as well as Joe Wise, with the four of them appearing together in various photographs kept by David. He was also aware of the accident that left Takeru in a vegetative state.
Code Geass: Akito the Exiled
After Yukiya was rescued from critical injuries from being shot by Brondello's Canterbury, Sophie contacted David to perform remote surgery on him without revealing the Weiswolf castle's location. David agreed, noting during the operation it was the first time he had carried out telesurgery on a patient in a secret location. When Sophie thanked him, David asked for her word that when Takeru woke up, he would be the first person she told, adding that he still hoped to match him in chess and wins.
Medical Skill
David is an excellent surgeon trusted by Sophie, successfully performing telesurgery despite the patient's poor prognosis.
