The Geass Skull (ギアス髑髏 Giasu Dokuro) is a supernatural being introduced in Code Geass: Akito the Exiled. It is the entity that granted to Shin Hyuga Shaing his Geass.
The Geass Skull, also simply referred to as the "Skull," is a mysterious being worshipped by Eclipse, that appear in a painting located in the house where Akito and Shin lived during their childhood. It is an atypical Code Holder of unknown origin that appeared before Shin as a floating skull with the Geass sigil on its forehead, claiming that they would "grant the Geass to anyone who hated the world."
After Shin killed his father, a sinister skull bearing the Geass sigil on its forehead appeared before him. Though he prepared to confront it, the entity laughed and offered power to the boy, who expressed his desire to use it to destroy the world. Declaring that they would grant power to anyone who hated the world, the Skull sealed a contract with him, granting him Geass and warning that the power would condemn him to loneliness. Shin, however, replied that he did not fear loneliness: in fact, he desired it.
