Lierre is the god who rules over many angels, including Pekola and Poporon. Even though she looks like a little girl, she is actually much older and once had the appearance of a mature woman. She has huge power, but being in a child’s body has made her weaker than before. Lierre came to the human world to judge humanity and maybe destroy it, but after seeing how angels and humans live together, she began to change her mind.
Lierre now looks like a young girl, about 130 cm tall.
Her birthday is December 24.
She changes her appearance to look like a child because children are less likely to be feared or suspected by humans.
In heaven, she looked more like an adult woman, similar in age to Persephone I.
Lierre is the god the angels serve.
She once cared about humans, but saw them grow selfish and disappointing.
After a meeting with other gods, she agreed to punish humanity and came to the human world to destroy it.
She pretended to be an orphan and entered the Iron Commando orphanage, where Pekola and Poporon stay.
Her old friend Persephone I also comes to the orphanage under the fake name “Hanako Kasugai.”
Lierre is very powerful, and even as a child, she can cut Jashin-chan’s tail in half with a dropkick.
Pekola says being hit by a human feels like a mosquito bite to Lierre.
However, because she’s in a child’s body, she has gotten weaker.
A strong punch from Yurine Hanazono knocked her out, and using her powers sometimes makes her dizzy.
She was planning to punish Pekola, Poporon, and Pino for being traitors, but changed her mind after observing them in the human world.
She feels relief knowing the angels are getting along with humans.
She finds Jashin-chan annoying, but doesn’t want to fight Yurine Hanazono because she can’t figure her out.
Lierre and Persephone I were close friends in heaven, but now Persephone enjoys teasing Lierre about being treated as a child, which Lierre tries to hide.
Lierre’s favorite items include toys from kid-friendly anime and especially Patra-chan merch (from another work by the author).
The voice actress for Lierre, Miharu Hanai, is the younger sister of Aina Suzuki, who voices Jashin-chan. This was kept a secret at first and was later announced by the official Dropkick on My Devil! account.
Miharu Hanai has also imitated her sister’s dirty-sounding Jashin-chan voice for fun.
Gods’ Judgement and Lierre’s Arrival
Lierre becomes disappointed with humans for being selfish and greedy.
During a council with other gods, she agrees to destroy the world and goes to the human world.
She enters the Iron Commando orphanage, pretending to be an orphan, to see what human life is like before ending it.
Watching the Angels
She suspects Pekola, Poporon, and Pino of betraying heaven and working with devils, so she thinks about punishing them.
After watching them live peacefully with humans, she realizes they haven’t really betrayed heaven and puts off their punishment.
Power and Weaknesses
Lierre’s powers are still very strong, but being in a child’s body makes her weaker.
She can easily hurt Jashin-chan, but is knocked out by a punch from Yurine Hanazono, showing she’s not as tough as before.
