Demiquas is a Human Monk and the leader of the notorious guild "Brigantia" in Susukino. He is known for his long purple hair and strong body. After the "Apocalypse," he ruled Susukino with violence, harming both local people and new Adventurers. Demiquas has a bold personality, often acting cruelly and thinking he can control the world as he likes. He is infamous for obsessing over Serara and for being defeated by Nyanta and Shiroe. Over time, he lost his guild to William Massachusetts’ Silver Sword and began to change his views, especially after meeting Upashi. Although he still seeks revenge against Shiroe, Demiquas has grown as a fighter and person, even joining forces with his old enemies.
Demiquas has long purple hair and a muscular, trained body. His looks make him stand out as a strong and fierce fighter.
He is aggressive, prideful, and likes to control others through force. Demiquas believes this world belongs to him and sees both Adventurers and the People of the Land as tools or prey. He is stubborn but has learned to reflect on his actions after many defeats and tough battles.
Demiquas was the most feared figure in Susukino after the "Apocalypse." As the guild master of Brigantia, he made his name through violence, theft, and treating others as slaves. His power made other Adventurers and the People of the Land afraid of him.
Demiquas is a Monk with the subclass "Outlaw" and uses a combat style called "Kicker." He is very good at dodging attacks and making quick moves in battle. Instead of leading groups, he often fights alone, relying on his individual power. He uses both basic and creative fighting tactics, making him skilled but not a team player.
Equipment
- Beast King's Gear: High-level equipment dropped from Tenvictory Plains Field Raid monsters.
- Wyvern Greaves: Upgraded leg armor made from rare Wyvern materials, increases the range of his special kicks.
- Gauntlet of Greed: A glove from a PvP tournament, lets him heal HP when he deals damage and boosts monster coin drops.
- Cat-Shaped Sandbag: A practice tool with cat ears and auto-dodge ability, made from rare Shadowrun Lynx fur.
- William Massachusetts: After Brigantia’s defeat, Demiquas became William’s follower and now listens to his orders.
- Upashi: A noblewoman from the People of the Land; Demiquas first tried to make her his servant, but she ended up putting him under her control. Now they live almost like a married couple. He loves her homemade meat cutlets and hamburgers.
- Shiroe: His enemy and main rival. Demiquas still wants to get revenge on Shiroe and hasn't forgotten their fights.
- Nyanta and Naotsugu: Despite fighting them, Demiquas sees them more as strong opponents than enemies.
- Demiquas is especially fond of meat dishes made by Upashi.
- He was once feared as the worst villain in Susukino.
Ruling Susukino With Violence
After the "Apocalypse," Demiquas takes over Susukino and leads Brigantia. He abuses and oppresses both new Adventurers and the People of the Land, becoming infamously cruel.
Obsession With Serara
Demiquas becomes fixated on Serara, trying to force her to stay with him using power. But when Nyanta and Shiroe come to rescue her, they work together and easily defeat Demiquas. Shiroe even uses a special trap so Serara can finish him off, sending Demiquas back to the temple as punishment.
Defeat by Silver Sword
After losing to Shiroe, Demiquas tries to keep control of Susukino but gets crushed by William Massachusetts and his Silver Sword guild. Many of his guild members abandon him, leaving Demiquas a shadow of his former self and now just William’s assistant.
Change Through Upashi
Demiquas tries to make Upashi, a noblewoman from the People of the Land, his servant but she quickly takes charge, and soon they are nearly like a married couple. Through Upashi, Demiquas learns to respect the People of the Land.
Raid Battles and Redemption
Though still angry at Shiroe, Demiquas trains hard to get stronger and seeks new items. When William and Shiroe start a big raid on "Abyssal Shaft," Demiquas is forced to join. Although he often acts alone and causes headaches for healers, his bravery in battle is seen as impressive.
During the toughest fights, especially against Lushearte of the Seven Gardens, Demiquas helps by pulling enemies away while protecting Shiroe. For the first time, he and Shiroe talk directly and finally start to understand each other, accepting that they are different. Demiquas’ actions are key to winning the raid, and he feels proud when he sees his name carved on the raid monument.
Defending Susukino and Emotional Growth
Later, when the Moth Swarm attacks Susukino, Demiquas stands with William and Silver Sword to protect the city and Upashi. When Upashi wakes from a magic sleep, Demiquas hugs her and cries with joy (though he claims it’s just drool). This moment shows his true feelings and growth as a person.
Demiquas is strong and fierce, but over time, he learns about friendship, teamwork, and caring for others. Even though he still has a wild side and hasn't forgotten his grudge against Shiroe, he is slowly becoming a better person.
