Ragnarok

Weapon Form

In his true form, Ragnarok is a formidable double-edged black sword with a two-handed hilt. However, the anime often shows him being wielded with a single hand, much like a fencing sword.

After he and Crona were taken in by the DWMA, Lord Death confiscated all the souls they had stolen. This caused Ragnarok's blade to become noticeably thinner, reflecting his loss of power.

Manifested Form

While he appears to have no mouth at first glance, Ragnarok actually possesses a large mouth on the lower part of his face. He frequently emerges from Crona's back, a constant and very vocal presence.

Following the confiscation of his souls, his manifested body also shrank in size. This smaller, less intimidating form matches his slightly toned-down attitude.

Ragnarok has a truly mean-spirited and twisted personality, always ready with a vulgar comment. His speech is so crude that even his meister, Crona, often can't comprehend what he's saying.

Despite his constant bullying of Crona, he does occasionally listen to his meister's commands. After his body shrank, his tormenting of Crona became a bit lighter, and he generally seemed to calm down.

He claims not to be on anyone's side, but this might just be a front for a softer side he can't bring himself to show. This is hinted at when he becomes instantly cooperative after Maka Albarn offers him candy, revealing a surprising sweet tooth.

Black Blood

Ragnarok himself is the source of the Black Blood that flows within Crona's body. He is a living weapon symbiotically fused with his meister.

Flight

He can morph his manifested form into a dragon-like creature. This transformation allows him and Crona to take to the skies.

Scream Vibration

Ragnarok can let out a piercing scream. The intense sound waves cause his blade to vibrate, turning him into a deadly vibration sword.
