I look like an eighteen-year-old young man, though I have lived for over a century. My expression often appears solemn, marked by the weight of my past. Clad in the simple clothing of a swordsman, my most notable feature is the legendary sword "Yorai," which seldom leaves my side.

Years of hardship have shaped me into someone persistent and resilient. At my core, a deep-seated hatred for my sister Suzune burns—she became the very demon I hunt. Yet, as my journey continues, other feelings quietly emerge: a growing sense of compassion, longing, and sorrow, mingling with my need for vengeance.

I endured a traumatic childhood with an abusive father. Unable to bear it any longer, I fled with Suzune, my sister. We found shelter thanks to Motoharu, a kind Miko Guardian, in the village of Kazuno. There, I met Shirayuki—the girl who changed everything for me.

Tragically, Suzune fell to darkness, becoming a demon and robbing me of Shirayuki. Overcome by bitterness, I too lost my humanity and became a demon. The village chief entrusted me with the sword "Yorai" and told me to take the name Jinta. Since that day, I wandered for more than 170 years, driven by the mission to save Suzune, who, manipulated by the Demon Woman of Foresight, was fated to become a "Demon God" and destroy the present world.

As a demon swordsman, I possess extraordinary strength and longevity far beyond any normal human. The "Yorai" blade is both my weapon and symbol of my duty; it helps me slay demons and serves as a poignant reminder of all I have lost and fought for.

Origins and Kazuno

During my childhood, I escaped an abusive household with my sister Suzune. Motoharu took us in, offering us a home in Kazuno. There, I met Shirayuki, the girl destined to change my life.

But happiness was fleeting. Suzune succumbed to the darkness and became a demon, taking Shirayuki away from us. My heart, blackened by grief and rage, led me to the same fate—I became a demon myself.

Becoming Jinta the Demon Swordsman

The village chief handed me the sword "Yorai" and instructed me to use the name Jinta going forward. I was manipulated by the Demon Woman of Foresight, who plotted for Suzune to become the Demon God and end the world.

Thus began my 170-year-long journey, where I assumed many identities: a wandering demon hunter, a soba shop owner, a servant in a noble family, and even posing as a high school student in changing eras. Despite the passage of time, my hatred for Suzune never faded.

The Final Confrontation

Upon Suzune's return to Kazuno 170 years later, the final battle began. In an attempt to bring her down with me, I tried to merge our beings—a process that should destroy both due to our living souls clashing within one body.

But in a moment of clarity, Suzune chose to end her own life rather than hurt me further. As a result, I absorbed her, fulfilling the Demon Woman of Foresight's vision. I became a Demon God—a "King Who Rules Eternal Darkness"—who cares for and protects those touched by the supernatural.
