Orihime Inoue

Orihime is a pretty high school girl with long, chestnut-colored hair.

She usually wears flower-shaped hairpins with six petals.

Her height is 157 cm and her weight changes from 45 kg to 49 kg during the story.

Orihime has a curvy figure which becomes more noticeable later on.

At some point, her straight hair becomes wavy, and she stops wearing her hairpins for a while.

Orihime is seen as the idol of her school because of her looks and friendly nature.

She acts very cheerful and goofy, often saying unexpected or funny things.

However, she is also intelligent, as she ranks in the top three of her grade.

Orihime is brave and kind, always ready to help others, including her enemies.

Her strong will lets her push through tough times, and she tries her best to protect her friends.

Orihime's home life was very hard.

Her parents were cruel, with her brother Sora Inoue calling their father "a devil" and their mother "a prostitute."

Feeling unsafe, she and her brother left their home at a young age.

Sadly, her brother died in a car accident when she was in middle school, leaving her to live alone and depend on part-time jobs and some help from relatives.

She keeps her grades up because she needs good marks to receive living expenses.

In the anime, it's said that she and her brother were abandoned by their parents.

She was also bullied in middle school because of her hair color, making her feel lonely, but she stayed positive.

Orihime discovers her spiritual powers after meeting Ichigo Kurosaki.

Her main power is called "The Six Flowers of the Shield."

She can refuse or reject anything with her own will, using flower spirits to create shields and heal wounds.

She can even heal very serious injuries, sometimes undoing things that have happened.

Orihime is good at karate (she holds a first dan rank) and has great athletic skills.

Becoming a Hero

Orihime starts as a normal high school girl, but after coming in contact with Ichigo Kurosaki in his Soul Reaper form, she awakens her own spirits powers.

Facing Sadness and Growing Strong

Though she is kind and gentle, Orihime has to face many tragedies and dangers.

She is often seen as weak but proves herself by working hard to grow stronger both mentally and physically.

She struggles when pointed out that she might be a burden, but later decides she will keep healing Ichigo and supporting him no matter what.

Arrancar and Beyond

During the battles with the Arrancar, Orihime stands out for her willingness to heal even her foes.

Her resolve grows, and she learns to take a braver stand, shielding and healing her friends during dangerous moments.

Final Arc and Epilogue

In the final arc, "Thousand-Year Blood War," Orihime goes with Ichigo and Yasutora Sado to convince Uryuu Ishida to come back.

She also shows her strength by protecting Ichigo and taking on a bigger role in battle.

After the war, Orihime works as a full-time employee at a pancake shop called "ABCookies," moving up from her student part-time job.

Eventually, she marries Ichigo and becomes the mother of their son, Kazui Kurosaki.
