Sariel is a high-ranking member of the Goddess Clan known for his overwhelming combat power and strict sense of duty.

He returns to the mortal world by using the body of the human entertainer Solaad as a vessel.

Although he appears as a young boy, Sariel is an ancient warrior who fought in both the previous and current Holy Wars.

He often fights alongside his fellow archangel Tarmiel, forming a devastating combination on the battlefield.

Sariel is principled and dutiful, placing great importance on promises and responsibilities.

He even prioritizes fulfilling his promise to his human vessel Solaad over reconstructing his own body.

Despite being an archangel, he respects Elizabeth Liones’s beliefs, power, and compassion.

He is willing to defy orders from Ludociel when he believes Elizabeth’s actions are morally right.

His attitude toward enemies is severe, but he shows mercy when he recognizes genuine redemption or sees a chance to save them.

Sariel possesses the Grace Tornado, a divine power granted by the Supreme Deity.

With it, he can generate and control razor-sharp tornadoes for both offense and defense.

Tornado allows Sariel to manipulate wind at incredible speed and pressure.

These winds can become cutting gusts like scythes, forming walls, spheres, or cloaks of wind around him.

In past battles, he shrouded his body in a tornado strong enough to grind away Derieri’s left arm.

The versatility of Tornado lets him use it as a shield, a blade, or a wide-area annihilation tool.

Past Holy War

In the previous Holy War, Sariel fought on the front lines against the Demon Clan.

Together with Tarmiel, he defeated many invading demons in a single strike.

During this conflict, he overwhelmed Monspeet and the other demons at first.

However, once they transformed using the power of the demon curse (their enhanced demonic forms), the tide turned and Sariel was the one overwhelmed.

When Elizabeth Liones tried to save Monspeet and the others rather than destroy them, Sariel sided with her.

He ignored Ludociel’s commands and, along with Tarmiel, moved to protect and support Elizabeth’s decision.

Holy War in the Present Story

When the Holy War reignites, Sariel returns to the mortal realm using Solaad’s body as his vessel.

He again partners with Tarmiel and confronts the powerful demon Estarossa.

At first, Sariel dominates Estarossa using his Grace, fighting in perfect tandem with Tarmiel.

But when Estarossa absorbs multiple Commandments and his power skyrockets, the balance shifts and Sariel is pushed back.

The power of Tornado begins to strain Solaad’s human body.

Realizing the danger to his host, Sariel releases Solaad and returns to his original angelic form, sacrificing convenience for the sake of his promise.

Afterward, Sariel joins King and the others to chase down Estarossa in order to save Elizabeth Liones.

This pursuit eventually leads to the awakening of Mael, the true identity behind Estarossa.

Confrontation with Mael

Once Mael, one of the Four Archangels, regains his true self, he is heavily corrupted by darkness.

In this unstable state, Mael becomes a severe threat to everyone around him.

Sariel joins King in combat to restrain and save Mael from the darkness consuming him.

He cooperates with Derieri, listening to her plan and coordinating a combined strategy to stop Mael.

The plan ultimately fails, as Mael’s corrupted power is too great.

Sariel expends all of his magic power in the attempt, and his spiritual form fades away, leading to his disappearance.

His final actions underline his loyalty and selflessness: he spends everything not to kill Mael, but to rescue him.

This sacrifice reinforces his image as a deeply moral and stubbornly honorable archangel.

Enlil’s Divine Punishment

Enlil’s Divine Punishment is a powerful joint technique performed together with Tarmiel.

Within a sealed space created by their Graces, Sariel unleashes tornadoes while Tarmiel adds vast oceanic waters and lightning strikes.

The combined assault tears apart everything caught inside at a molecular level.

It is a technique designed for total annihilation of demon forces.

Rending Scythe Wind

Rending Scythe Wind is a massive crescent-shaped vacuum slash created from compressed air.

It travels with extreme speed and cutting power, functioning like a gigantic flying blade.

This attack is powerful enough to slice through Estarossa even after he has absorbed two Commandments and reached a combat level comparable to Sariel’s own.

It showcases the lethal cutting potential of Tornado when focused into a single strike.

Omega Ark

Omega Ark is a large-scale holy light technique executed together with Tarmiel.

They manifest multiple gigantic constructs of light known as “Ark,” which can bombard or imprison enemies.

These Arks are highly destructive against demons, inflicting damage that is difficult for demonic regeneration to undo.

Used in unison, Sariel and Tarmiel can erase large numbers of demon troops.

Tenacious Saint

Tenacious Saint is a technique where Sariel releases a swarm of radiant energy projectiles.

These countless light bullets overwhelm opponents through sheer volume and speed.

The barrage can be used to suppress enemy movement, chip away at defenses, or finish off already weakened foes.
