Ruti Ragnason is the younger sister of Red and the main heroine in "Banished from the Hero’s Party." She is known as the strongest human, thanks to her Blessing of the Hero. Ruti has a unique skill called "Perfect Resistance," making her immune to almost everything, especially fear. Her emotions are greatly limited by her blessing, leaving her feeling empty, but her deep love for her brother stays strong. Although her blessing forces her to help others and prevents her from hurting companions, there are moments when she acts against these impulses. With the help of other characters, Ruti eventually finds a way to live by her own feelings and starts a new peaceful life in Zoltan. ## Appearance Ruti is a young girl, 17 years old. She has an expressionless face most of the time because her emotions are heavily restricted by her blessing. Her look often makes her seem cold, but she can smile or cry in rare moments around her brother. ## Personality Ruti is often calm, quiet, and shows little emotion. She loves her brother Red more than anyone and depends on him emotionally. Her blessing limits her ability to feel happiness, anger, or sadness, making life hard for her. Despite this, her true feelings for her brother always shine through. She can be very caring and protective towards those she cares about, but has little interest in others. Deep inside, she enjoys fighting and is very strong, but being forced to help people makes her suffer. She becomes happy when she can enjoy regular human things, like getting a cold. ## Background Ruti is the younger sister of Red (real name: Gideon Ragnason). When she was young, Ruti and Red were called "the twin wings of hope for humanity." Because of her Hero Blessing, she was forced to go on a journey to defeat the Demon Lord. Her life has mostly been shaped by the duties and curses of her blessing. ## Abilities ### Blessing: Hero Ruti has an overpowered blessing called "Hero," which gives her incredible strength to save the world. But, in exchange, it severely limits her emotions. She is pushed by a strong urge to help people, no matter the risk to herself or how she feels about it. She can't get angry about personal frustration or even enjoy simple pleasures like good food or a warm bath. ### Unique Skills **Healing Hand:** She can heal any wound by touching the person, even herself. With this on all the time, she can recover from deadly injuries instantly and never get tired. It's a secret skill only the Hero can use. **Perfect Resistance:** She is immune to all negative effects, including disease, poison, fear, or even the need to sleep. **Emotion Resistance:** She can't be affected by sad or angry feelings at all (but this means she can't feel joy either). ### Other Powers Her fighting skills are overwhelming, and she never gets tired, sick, or poisoned. Ruti only ever felt taste from her brother's cooking, remembered from her earlier life before her emotions were completely sealed. ## Relationships ### Red (Gideon Ragnason) Red is Ruti’s older brother and the person she loves most. He is the one who always protected her, kept her humanity alive, and made her feelings surface. Even after he left the party, her feelings for him never faded. I missed you! I was so lonely!!” ## Plot ### Hero's Struggle After Red leaves the party, Ruti continues the journey to defeat the Demon Lord. She defeats bosses like the Wind Four Heavenly King. But, without her brother, the party falls apart as other members leave because of Ares’ mistakes. Ruti feels increasingly lonely and hopeless. ### Breaking Free from Fate Ruti finds a flying ship in a former Demon Lord ruin and gets a potion from a contract demon that weakens the blessing’s grip. She gives up her title as Hero by throwing away her "Orichalcum Amulet." With Tisse, she travels to Zoltan, not knowing her brother Red lives there. ### Reunion in Zoltan In Zoltan, Ruti uses the fake name "Rule" and sneaks Godwin out of prison. She visits Red and Rit’s herb shop to buy medicine, leading to a tearful reunion with her brother. She begs him to travel with her again, but he refuses, so she decides to settle in Zoltan. ### Freedom and New Life After resolving the conflict with Ares, Ruti learns to suppress the blessing’s impulses. She starts life as "just Ruti," dropping her former fame and titles. With Tisse, she becomes a herb farmer and joins the local Adventurer’s Guild, helping protect the city when needed. She also enjoys simple things, like catching a cold, as she slowly reclaims her lost emotions. ### Fake History In the fake history imagined by the god Demis, Ruti’s brother dies early, and she loses what keeps her human. She acts like an ideal hero, always smiling for the people but without any real feelings. No one knows her smiles are fake, except Yarandrala, who senses something is off.
