Kaya is a 17-year-old heiress living on the outskirts of Syrup Village. She is 169 cm tall, has the astrological sign Virgo, and her blood type is type F. Her birthday is August 24, and she enjoys seafood. She has semi-long blonde hair, and despite her frail health, she is strong-willed.
She is a close friend of Usopp. Surrounded by many butlers, she lived in affluence. However, a year before Luffy D. Monkey and his crew arrived, Kaya lost both of her parents to illness, which caused her to fall into poor health due to the shock and grief. Usopp visited her home often, and by listening to his amusing stories, she gradually regained her spirits.
However, her life was threatened by Klahadore (Captain Kuro), who had served as her butler for three years and was secretly after her fortune. Thanks to the actions of Usopp and his friends, Kaya was safely rescued. After the incident was resolved, she entrusted the Going Merry to Luffy D. Monkey and his crew, and watched Usopp set off on his journey.
Currently, Kaya is studying to become a doctor and supports Usopp’s achievements together with the Usopp Pirates.
