He is a classmate of Chihiro Furuya and is affectionately called "Yasutaka." Chihiro refers to him as "the perverted guy who's obsessed with beautiful girls." He attends a high school near Sanka Girls' Academy because he admires the girls there. He feels jealous of Chihiro's close relationships with Rea Sanka and Ranko Saōji. Additionally, he has some eccentric traits that cause others to call him "creepy." Although he has touched the zombie-fied Rea Sanka, to him, Rea is nothing more than "someone with a severe case of coldness."
