If the flower is removed, his old violent personality returns, and he even becomes a crazy weapon called "Hevandorogon."
His family members are gentle even without the flower, suggesting his original wildness might come from his mother's side or be a genetic trait.

In the school spinoff "3rd Year Z Class Gintama," Hedoro is a student in class Z.
He is serious about learning but is still feared by other students because of his appearance.
During the graduation episode of the anime’s 16th season, he appears crying at the ceremony.
He also plays on the Z class baseball team and hits many home runs because of his strength.
The Dakini tribe looks like demons and are famous for being strong fighters, nearly equal to the Yato tribe.
Most Dakini are wild, but some, like Hedoro, are calm and peaceful.
