The Headmaster of Ichinose Academy refers to himself using the first person pronoun "I." However, Nariyuki's decision to decline the recommendation led to it being rescinded. The reason the Headmaster appointed Nariyuki as a tutor was because he believed Nariyuki, as a peer, would be in a better position to persuade the girls if they needed to reconsider their chosen fields.
