A designer who started the fashion brand "HAZIME YANAGIDA". While having strong confidence in his designs, he does not personally sew the garments, relying on experts for production. He is a mentor-like figure who has trained Ikuto Tsumura into a professional, displaying an overbearing personality but possessing an awkward kindness.
During his time at Geika University of Fashion, he accidentally sewed his finger with a sewing machine for the first time and, since then, has been unable to hold a needle by hand. He initially studied architecture at Kenzou University, but after designing the runway for a fashion show, he was inspired to become a fashion designer, prompting him to re-enter Geika University of Fashion. Before becoming independent, he worked as a designer at Milneige, where he became acquainted with the Fujito family.
After going independent, he achieved success at Tokyo Collection, but struggled with a lack of recognition. Determined to make a name for himself, he decided to join Aphro I dite, temporarily shelving "HAZIME YANAGIDA". As the chief designer at Aphro I dite, he succeeded at shows in New York and Paris, gaining attention as a promising young designer. He also provided guidance to Ikuto Tsumura as his subordinate at figure, but after being defeated by novice at a joint exhibition, he officially acknowledged Ikuto Tsumura and told him he was fired.
