Chinami Umihara
Overview
One of Uruka Takemoto's friends and a graduate of Nanaomina Junior High School.
She has short, brown hair and gray eyes.
She is bright and sociable, and called Uruka "Umi-cchi" and Ayuko Kuwase "Kuwase Captain," though from the second semester onward she began calling Kuwase by her first name.
Like Kuwase, she supports Uruka's romance.
When Uruka collapsed, she rushed to her side in tears together with Kuwase, showing how much she cares about her.
After the defeat in the final 3rd-year swimming medley relay, while feeling down, she was consoled by Haruma Kobayashi. As they supported each other, mutual feelings developed, and they started dating. She kissed Kobayashi on a bench in Saegusa Park.
In the first character popularity poll, she ranked 10th (with 221 votes).
