Anos Voldigoad

--- Anos Voldigoad (アノス・ヴォルディゴード, Anosu Vorudigōdo) is an extremely powerful demon known as the Demon King of Tyranny (暴虐の魔王, Bōgyaku no Maō?) in the Mythical Age, notorious for his overwhelming power and extreme brutality toward his enemies. After sacrificing his life to divide the world into four parts, he reincarnated into the Magic Age and began attending the Demon King Academy alongside his descendants, only to be regarded as a misfit. He is the main character in The Misfit of Demon King Academy.

Appearance

Anos is a young man with black hair, black and red eyes, a muscular build, and a rather handsome face. He is often seen wearing a white school uniform, consisting of a black shirt, white jacket and pants, and a cross-shaped emblem, the only symbol of the Demon King Academy that doesn’t fit in. He also wears white pants, a black belt, and a metal chain.

Personality

Anos is resolute, resilient, and invincible. His absolutely overwhelming power grants him an unshakable confidence that only his ego can surpass. Due to this immense power, Anos maintains a calm demeanor and unmatched perseverance when facing any challenge. Even as a child, he demonstrated an extraordinary level of maturity, especially during the Mythical Age.

Despite being called the Demon King of Tyranny, Anos has a clear moral compass and often shows kindness and consideration. He cares deeply about the happiness of his family, friends, and followers, and readily rewards their loyalty. He is willing to do anything to help them grow and reach their full potential. Others may view him as ruthless or arrogant—he is indeed proud—but his personal belief is to avoid unnecessary killing. He values great strength, not just in power but in character. He always inspires his followers to embrace love and strengthen their bonds with loved ones, a rare trait in the Mythical Age, as he himself was an orphan in his previous life and grew up without a family.

Although Anos is not inherently evil, his chaotic and sometimes ruthless methods of dealing with enemies are what earned him the title. He never truly declared himself the Demon King of Tyranny, but he openly accepts it since the rest of the world sees him that way. His enemies are terrified of his strength and shocked that a single man could wield such immeasurable power. He genuinely does not care whether those around him acknowledge him as the Demon King, as truth is not a matter of belief.

Two thousand years ago, in his past life, Anos was an orphan. Humans killed his mother while she was pregnant with him, and he was born from her corpse—something he can never forget.

Abilities

Origin of Destruction: Anos possesses a unique origin specialized in destruction. As a Voldigoad, Anos's bloodline is the king of destruction. The Voldigoad bloodline has difficulty bearing children because their destructive origin resists creation. Death and destruction nurture the fetus. The closer the mother is to destruction, the more suitable the environment for the child's birth. The death of Anos’s mother during his birth contributed to his immense destructive power. Furthermore, Anos is a Lion of Destruction capable of destroying the Silver Sea.

Vast Magical Power: Anos possesses extraordinary magical power that surpasses nearly all creatures he has encountered so far. His power is so immense that a power crystal couldn’t even measure it and shattered. Anos was able to overwhelm Ivis Necron fused with Keeper of Time Eugo La Raviaz while being affected by the King-class traits of Gyze, which reduced his magic to less than one-third. Additionally, he simultaneously supplied magic to Rivide and protected the Necron twins. It's worth noting that the fusion magic used to combine Ivis Necron and the Scythe of the Timekeeper increased his magical power tenfold. In the battle with Melheis Boran, it was revealed that all of Anos’s feats up to that point were achieved using less than one-tenth of his actual power, as he had not yet fully adapted to his new body.

Surpassing Destruction: Like everyone, the closer Anos's origin is to destruction, the stronger it becomes. But since Anos specializes in destructive magic, his power is even greater. However, his origin is completely powerless before Evansmana, the legendary holy sword forged specifically to destroy him, which prevents his origin from growing stronger.
