Wolfman is from the Tohoku region in Japan.

Birthday: June 1, 1961.

Height: 190 cm.

Weight: 102 kg.

He wears a big mawashi-style belt and wrestling shorts.

He usually has a large topknot hairstyle and strong thick eyebrows.

His eyes are single colors, either white or yellow, without black pupils.

At first, he didn’t have a nose, but later in the series, a light nose is shown.

Wolfman's build is very muscular, as strong as Kinnikuman.

His body shape changes from a “V” form at first, later becoming like a real sumo wrestler with a thicker waist.

He wears wristbands and sometimes boots, but sometimes his feet are bare.

Off the ring, he wears a yukata (a casual kimono).

In Kinnikuman Nisei, Wolfman is shown with lots of wrinkles as he grows older.

Wolfman is sometimes rough and confident, maybe because he is a top-ranked Yokozuna.

At first, he teases and challenges Kinnikuman with a superior attitude.

But inside, he is very loyal and would risk his life to help his friends.

He has a true samurai spirit and is respected by his teammates.

He is also said to love sake (Japanese alcohol) a lot.

He values honor, friendship, and always shows a deep sense of justice.

Wolfman is a Justice Superhuman (hero) from Japan.

He is one of the strongest superhuman sumo wrestlers, holding the title of Yokozuna, the highest sumo rank.

He trains under his coach Coyote Man after moving to Tokyo by nighttime train at age 10, aiming to become a sumo wrestler.

According to Kinnikuman Nisei, he went to study at Hercules Factory at age 14, making friends with Robin Mask and Terryman from early on.

Wolfman fights mainly with sumo techniques.

He specializes in strong hand slaps and throwing moves.

His signature moves are "Rubik's Cube Hand Slap" and "Gassho Twist."

His strength is so great that even a light touch from him can send a bullet train flying.

Wolfman is also a tactical thinker, sometimes making smart strategies in tough matches.

His superhuman strength level is 800,000 Power (980,000 Power in the anime).

Wolfman’s most famous rival is Kinnikuman.

They first see each other as enemies, but later, they become close friends and respect each other deeply.

He is also friendly with Robin Mask, Terryman, Brocken Jr., and other Justice Superhumans.

He sometimes forms tag teams, such as the "Most Dangerous Combo" with Brocken Jr.

Wolfman was designed by the manga's creators, Yudetamago, not from a fan idea.

His character is based on Chiyonofuji, a famous real-life sumo Yokozuna called the "Wolf."

In the original anime, his name was changed to Rikishiman out of respect for Chiyonofuji.

Wolfman has died about three times in the story, but comes back each time.

The creators said his "big moment" is all about how he gets taken down.

He once received the title "Eternal Yokozuna" from the Superhuman Committee.

In spin-off series, there is a female parallel world version with huge muscles and also huge... personality!

Introduction and Kinnikuman Rivalry

Wolfman appears during the Chojin Olympics: The Big Fight as the superhuman wrestling champion representing Japan, along with Kinnikuman.

At first, Wolfman looks down on Kinnikuman, calling him “Fatty-man.”

During the tournament, he challenges Kinnikuman to a sumo match but loses and gradually starts respecting him.

They grow from rivals to friends, teaming up in several big battles later.

Battles and First Death

Wolfman fights bravely with the Idol Superhumans during the Seven Devil Superhumans arc.

He faces Springman in a match at the Tottori Sand Dunes, where he is killed.

Buffaloman gives Wolfman one million power, allowing his body to recover and bringing him back to life.

Golden Mask Arc and Sacrifice

During the Golden Mask arc, Wolfman and others lose their superhuman strength and are trapped in capsules.

Knowing he will die if he leaves the capsule, Wolfman still sends his life energy to help revive Kinnikuman after his death.

He dies again but returns in spirit form to support Kinnikuman in the final battle against the Demon General.

When the masks of Good and Evil combine, they revive the fallen heroes, including Wolfman.

Tag Tournament and Second Death

In the Dream Tag Team arc, Wolfman teams up with Brocken Jr. as the “Most Dangerous Combo.”

They prepare to face the “20 Million Powers” team but are attacked by the Perfect Superhumans Screw Kid and Kendaman.

Wolfman is killed again but returns as a ghost in the final matches to encourage Kinnikuman.

Royal Throne Arc

Wolfman spends some time recovering in Hawaii.

When he learns Kinnikuman is in trouble, he returns to Japan, teaming up with Jessie Maybea to help fight against a God-disguised Kinnikuman Big Body.

New Series: Retirement and Return

Wolfman retires due to a severe left leg injury that cannot be cured.

He becomes a sumo coach, training the next generation of warriors.

At his retirement ceremony, he feels lonely because his old friends are all recovering from past injuries.

Black Ship, the world superhuman sumo champion, interrupts and challenges Wolfman's right to be called “Eternal Yokozuna.”

Wolfman decides to fight one last match and wins with his finishing move, the Gassho Twist.

Omega Centauri Six Spears Arc

While touring Spain with young sumo wrestlers, Wolfman meets Muscle Harabote and sees the ruined Sagrada Familia being restored.

The “Six Spears of Omega Centauri” led by Omega Man Aristera attack, looking for research hidden underground.

Wolfman jumps in to protect everyone, turning a hopeless 1-vs-6 match into a fair fight when old friends arrive to help.

He faces the wolf-like superhuman Lunight.

Wolfman is hurt badly but refuses to give up, inspired by Kinnikuman’s cheers and memories of friendship.

He manages to destroy Lunight’s metal bite and almost beats him but is countered by Lunight’s version of his own move.

Wolfman is nearly defeated, but the spirits of his friends give him strength.

He stands up again and uses a new move called “Shiranui Cloud Dragon Throw” to finally defeat Lunight.

Wolfman offers a hand to save Lunight, who refuses, but acknowledges Wolfman as a true Yokozuna before dying.

Wolfman later cheers for Kinnikuman and Brocken Jr. in their toughest fights.

Kinnikuman Nisei

Wolfman appears as an old man, with a wrinkled face, but still strong in spirit.

He helps promote the reopening of the Hercules Factory to train the next generation.

He jokes about Kinnikuman’s strange double, causing everyone to laugh.

In the spin-off "Kinnikuman Lady," a parallel-world Wolfman appears as a super-strong high school girl wrestler with big muscles and, well, big everything!

She retains the signature features of Wolfman and becomes a popular character in her own right.

Unlike the original, she has regular eyes, but sometimes they turn plain white during fights.
