His weight has also slightly increased from 56kg to 57kg.
Yuta is a hard worker, the complete opposite of his naturally gifted brother, Shusuke.
He strongly dislikes being compared to his brother, and "Fuji's younger brother" was once a forbidden phrase around him.
He is a huge fan of sweets, in contrast to his brother who prefers spicy food, and loves his sister's raspberry pie.
While he finds his brother's overprotective nature annoying, he respects Shusuke as a rival and a goal to surpass.
Despite defying his coach's unethical orders, Yuta deeply admires Hajime Mizuki for seeing and appreciating his own unique talent.
He believes that wanting to win isn't a bad thing, but he now wishes to fight using his own strength.
Yuta was originally a student at Seishun Gakuen (Seigaku).
He couldn't stand being seen only as "the genius Shusuke Fuji's brother" from the moment he enrolled.
He intentionally avoided joining the Seigaku tennis club and instead attended a tennis school further away.
There, he encountered the "recruited" players of St. Rudolph.
These players, gathered from various regions, only knew of Seigaku as a "strong team in the Kanto region."
They had no idea who Shusuke Fuji was at the time.
Because they recognized his individual skill and potential, Yuta willingly chose to transfer to St. Rudolph.
He even moved out of his family home and into the school's dormitory.

Lefty Killer
To defeat his brother, Yuta trained extensively against left-handed players.
This earned him the nickname "Lefty Killer," and he boasted a perfect 16-0 record against lefties before his match with Ryoma.
Special Moves
- Super Rising: This move allows Yuta to hit the ball on the rise, effectively neutralizing tricky shots like the Twist Serve.
- Twist Spin Shot: A powerful offensive shot that mimics the bounce of a Twist Serve. However, it puts immense strain on his developing body and could have destroyed his shoulder with continued use.
- W Twist Spin: A new move mentioned in supplementary materials.
Shusuke Fuji
Yuta initially had a very strained relationship with his older brother, Shusuke, resenting the constant comparisons.
This tension led him to leave Seigaku and move into the St. Rudolph dorms. After his match against Ryoma, they finally began to reconcile.
Hajime Mizuki
Yuta is deeply grateful to Mizuki for recognizing his personal abilities, not just his family name.
Even though Mizuki taught him a dangerous technique, Yuta continues to look up to him. He later told Mizuki he wanted to win on his own terms, which Mizuki accepted.
Ryoma Echizen
His match against Ryoma was a major turning point for him.
Ryoma's skill and words—"Your brother isn't the only one who's strong"—helped Yuta move past his obsession. He chose to defy Mizuki's orders for a fair fight, and the match ended with a sense of clarity and a newfound resolve.

Transfer to St. Rudolph
Yuta was originally a student at Seigaku but couldn't bear being known only as "Shusuke Fuji's younger brother."
He was scouted by St. Rudolph's coach, Hajime Mizuki, who saw Yuta's individual potential and talent.
Because of this, Yuta willingly transferred to St. Rudolph to forge his own path.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Tournament
To defeat his left-handed brother, Yuta specialized in fighting lefties, earning the nickname "Lefty Killer."
He entered the tournament with an undefeated 16-0 record against left-handed opponents.
In the quarterfinals against Seigaku, Mizuki strategically placed Yuta against Ryoma Echizen in Singles 3.
This was because Ryoma, also a lefty, had not yet faced another left-handed player in an official tournament match.
Yuta started the match strong, using his Super Rising to counter Ryoma's serves.
He then took the lead with his powerful Twist Spin Shot.
However, Ryoma coolly remarked, "I've played against stronger lefties."
He proved it by developing his new move, Drive B, on the spot, completely shattering Yuta's Twist Spin Shot.
Ryoma's words, "Your brother isn't the only one who's strong," shattered Yuta's obsession.
Mizuki then ordered Yuta to aim for Ryoma's left eye, but Yuta's mindset had changed. He wanted to win fair and square.
He ignored Mizuki's instructions and fought with all his heart, ultimately losing the match 3-6.
Despite the loss and Mizuki's harsh criticism, Yuta looked relieved, as if a great weight had been lifted from his shoulders.
Aftermath and Reconciliation
The Twist Spin Shot was a dangerous technique that could have permanently damaged Yuta's shoulder.
After learning that Mizuki taught his brother such a move without remorse, Shusuke delivered a swift "punishment" to Mizuki.
Despite this, Yuta remained grateful to Mizuki for discovering his talent.
This match became the catalyst for Yuta to finally reconcile with his brother, Shusuke.
Later Events
In the 5th place playoff match, Yuta suffered a quick defeat against Jiro Akutagawa, losing in just 15 minutes.
After the third-year students retired, Yuta succeeded Akazawa Yoshirou as the new captain of the St. Rudolph tennis team.
