Rock lee

He is Guy's beloved student, distinguished by his black, bowl-cut hair and thick eyebrows. He usually refers to himself with the polite pronoun "boku", is courteous and hard-working, but his excessive enthusiasm sometimes astonishes those around him. Lacking talent in ninjutsu and genjutsu, he was regarded as a "hot-blooded dropout" at the Academy. However, under Guy's guidance, he mastered advanced taijutsu techniques such as the "Lotus" and "Drunken Fist." Because these abilities put severe strain on his body, he is frequently left with serious injuries.

During the Chunin Exams, he confessed his feelings to Sakura Haruno upon first meeting her, but was rejected. He then challenged Sasuke Uchiha and ended in a draw. In the Forest of Death, he risked his body to protect Sakura. In the third exam, he fought Gaara and struggled. He opened the Fifth Gate, the "Gate of Limit," of the Eight Gates, unleashing a powerful attack, but due to the backlash, suffered severe injuries and was defeated.

After the exam, while recovering from critical injuries, he was examined by Tsunade and advised to retire from being a ninja following surgery. Encouraged by Guy, however, he chose to undergo the operation, which was a success. Afterwards, he joined Naruto Uzumaki and the others on the mission to retrieve Sasuke, working together with Gaara and achieving victory.

In Part II, he is promoted to Chunin and begins wearing the Konoha ninja vest. He takes part in the mission to rescue Gaara alongside Team Three. During the Fourth Great Ninja War, he is assigned to the Third Division and fights against various opponents. Although shaken by Neji's death, he continues to fight with his own convictions, ultimately joining Guy once again on the battlefield. After the war, he marries and has a son named Metal Lee.
