Raven

Raven is a young man with dark brown skin and short black hair.

His eyes are deep green, and, during battle, his left eye glows with energy from the spirit within.

He does not often smile or show feelings on his face, making him seem mysterious.

Raven is very quiet and hardly ever shows his emotions.

He often speaks only when needed and says exactly what he thinks, even if it sounds blunt.

Although he seems cold to others, he is actually honest and pure-hearted.

Most of his attention and care go to Edgar, and in the past, he never felt much interest in anyone else.

He slowly learns to trust Lydia, becoming close to her and even standing up to Edgar for her.

Raven was born as a special child who carried the powerful spirit of a monster that once served a royal family in old Ceylon.

He and his sister Ermine were sold to the Prince as children and trained to become killers.

Because of the wild spirit within him, Raven struggled to control himself and often lost control in fierce fights.

To save him, Ermine brought him to Edgar. Edgar gave Raven his new name, encouraging him to master the spirits and become his own person.

From then on, Raven devoted himself completely to Edgar.

Raven has very high combat abilities due to the spirits inside him.

He becomes almost unstoppable in battle, especially when the spirit power is released, causing his left eye to shine.

He was born with the monster spirit, which makes him much stronger than an ordinary person.

This also makes him dangerous if he loses control.

Raven is absolutely loyal to Edgar and sees him as his reason for living.

He used to care little about other people, thinking of Edgar’s many lovers as nothing more than his “property.”

But spending time with Lydia, he slowly learns to care for and trust someone besides Edgar.

With Lydia, he even dares to express his thoughts to Edgar and sometimes quietly disagrees.

He truly celebrates Edgar and Lydia’s marriage, saying it was the happiest day of his life.

He has an unusual but friendly bond with Nico, who is easy-going, and he deeply cares for his sister Ermine, helping her even after she becomes a selkie.

Bond with Edgar and Ermine

As children, Raven and Ermine were sold and trained as weapons by the Prince.

The powerful spirit inside Raven made him hard to control, leading to violent outbreaks.

To save him, Ermine introduced him to Edgar. Edgar gave Raven the name “Raven,” teaching him to be himself and control the spirits.

Growth and Acceptance

For a long time, Raven trusted only Edgar and had trouble making friends, especially while living in America.

Because of his lack of interest in others, people were suspicious of him and he did not form friendships.

Still, he found a strange friendship with Nico and stayed close to Ermine, even preparing her a silver knife when she became a selkie and could not touch steel.

Trusting Lydia

At first, Raven saw Lydia as just another person.

Over time, he opened his heart to her and began to trust her as a true friend.

He even questioned Edgar when it involved Lydia, showing he could care for someone else.

When Edgar and Lydia married, Raven was genuinely happy, saying it was the happiest day he had ever experienced.

Life After

Now, Raven studies butler skills under Tompkins, preparing for a more peaceful future.

In the anime, Raven’s left eye glows with power during battles, and his movements are shown with special effects, leaving a brief shining trail.

Even when others doubted him, Raven formed an odd friendship with Nico.

He always takes care of Ermine, especially after she becomes a selkie.
