Stude looks like a boy, much younger and smaller than his title suggests.

He does not have the build or aura of a powerful pirate captain.

Stude acts tough and calls himself a "great pirate" to hide his insecurities.

He is not very confident and relies on others to support him.

Sunraku calls him an "annoying brat" because of his attitude and inexperience.

Stude became the leader after his father, who was the real captain, fought the ghost ship called the Crying Innsmouth and then disappeared.

He only became the boss because the loyal crew wanted to help him.

His father’s last act was to fight the ghost ship alone, letting Stude and the crew escape.

The Truth About Stude’s Leadership

Stude is not truly powerful like his title says.

He is pushed forward by the old crew, who respect his father.

He really wants to beat the ghost ship that took his father, hoping to prove himself.

The Quest for Revenge

To get revenge, Stude asks players (called "Pioneers") for help to defeat the ghost ship.

This request is the starting point of a special scenario called "Pierce the Apostle of the Abyss," which is very important to the game’s story.

The Unexpected Mission Shift

At first, Sunraku and his friends think they need to defeat the ghost ship to win.

But the real goal is actually protecting Stude while fighting.

When Stude recklessly tries to board the ghost ship just like his father, the players must follow him.

Journey into the Abyss

All the players, together with Stude, are dragged into an undersea city ruled by Cutarnid, a mysterious being.

This triggers a new, rare scenario called "People, Look Upon the Abyss and the World Turns Upside Down," which the players must now face.

Stude is known more for his brave talk than his real strength.

Many people still respect him because of what his father did.

Stude’s story is a turning point in the game, changing an ordinary quest into a unique and challenging adventure for everyone involved.
