Within Shadow Garden she is treated with great respect, and even among the Seven Shadows she is often addressed with honorifics due to her leadership role.

Alpha sees the Seven Shadows as her family and holds deep affection for every member.

She is warm and caring toward them but uncompromisingly strict when it comes to the safety and ideals of Shadow Garden.

She has absolute faith in Cid Kagenou (whom she knows as Shadow) and depends on him both emotionally and ideologically.

Despite her composed and elegant demeanor, she can become surprisingly unstable if she feels abandoned or distanced from him.

Because of this deep dependence, anyone who threatens Cid is treated as an enemy without mercy.

She also shows subtle signs of jealousy or concern regarding women around Cid, such as Alexia Midgar.

Even when talking about her own favorite foods, she describes them not by taste or texture, but by the memories and stories associated with Cid.

This reveals how thoroughly her emotional axis is centered on him.

Alpha possesses swordsmanship second only to Cid within Shadow Garden.

She takes the original techniques she learned from him, rearranges and refines them, and then turns them into a more accessible style for the organization’s members.

She developed her own derivative sword techniques based on Cid’s style and disseminates them through Lambda as an instructor.

Thanks to her, Cid’s combat philosophy has become a structured, teachable system that shapes the fighting power of Shadow Garden as a whole.

Her talent is not limited to swordsmanship; she has outstanding magical control and analytical skills as well.

These abilities later allow her to understand the true nature of the “Demon Possession” disease and Shadow’s miraculous curing method.

Alpha was once afflicted with a condition known as Demon Possession, which caused her body to become grotesquely deformed and begin to collapse.

During transport by the church, her convoy was attacked by bandits, and she was taken to an abandoned village.

That abandoned village was then assaulted by Cid, disguised as the “Stylish Bandit Slayer.”

After he annihilated the bandit group, he discovered Alpha and decided to use her as a test subject for experiments in magical control.

Through this experimental procedure, her Demon Possession was completely cured and her original appearance restored.

Grateful for being saved, she declared that she wanted to repay him, and Cid in turn improvised a story about an evil organization called the Cult of Diablos in order to involve her in his “eminence in shadow” play.

This moment effectively became the starting point of the entire story.

From that day on, Alpha dedicated herself to the fight against the supposed Cult of Diablos and to building an organization around Shadow.

After hearing Cid’s fabricated tale of the Cult of Diablos, Alpha began gathering others with Demon Possession like herself.

She took them in, had them treated, and formed them into the group known as the Seven Shadows.

Later, following the incident in which Claire Kagenou was kidnapped, the Seven Shadows dispersed across various regions of the world.

Alpha, operating independently, continued to rescue Demon Possessed individuals, cure them using the method that had been used on her, and recruit them into Shadow Garden.

Many of those she saved became “Numbers,” elite members of the organization beneath the Seven Shadows.

Under her guidance and initiative, Shadow Garden grew into a massive, structured underground network, all largely without Cid being aware of its true scale.

Alpha naturally assumed the de facto command position, coordinating intelligence, strategy, and operations among countless subordinates.

Because of this, even the other Seven Shadows treat her as their leader and refer to her respectfully.

Initially, all of Cid’s explanations about the Cult of Diablos and the grand conspiracy behind Demon Possession were purely made up.

However, Alpha, by independently investigating, analyzing, and cross-checking countless clues, gradually realized that these “stories” actually aligned with terrifying real-world truths.

Through her own research, she came to believe that Cid’s words, as well as the so-called “Wisdom of the Shadows” (Cid’s previous-life knowledge), were genuine.

This convinced her that he is a being of extraordinary insight, far beyond normal human understanding.

As a result, she places complete trust in him both in personal matters and in strategic decisions.

Her loyalty is so absolute that when Cid temporarily acted as if he had left or turned against them during the Mitsugoshi encirclement incident, she nearly lost her mental and emotional balance.

Alpha is actually a descendant of the legendary hero Olivier.

Because of this bloodline, she bears a strong physical resemblance to Olivier and to Beatrix, who is another descendant of that same hero.

This heritage may also explain her natural aptitude for swordsmanship and leadership.

Her noble bearing and beauty often remind others of an idealized, heroic figure from myth.

Despite her overwhelming competence in battle, strategy, and organization, Alpha does have a few charming flaws.

In the spin-off “Kagejitsu! Second,” she shows a surprising lack of talent in artistic fields.

When she plays instruments such as the piano, the notes she produces somehow end up at bizarre, impossible pitches that a normal instrument should not be able to generate.

Likewise, when she is asked to design clothing for the Mitsugoshi brand, her designs inexplicably end up featuring animal motifs and odd decorations.

These small artistic misalignments are depicted as one of her rare weaknesses.

They highlight an endearing gap between her perfection in combat and leadership, and her awkwardness in creative, aesthetic work.

This contrast makes Alpha feel more human and approachable, rather than an untouchable “perfect superhuman.”

It also adds a playful charm to her character, showing that even the most flawless leader can have unexpected blind spots.
