Brocky

Brocky was a humanoid hyena with blank orange eyes, dark red skin with black stripes, a long gray mane, two large white tusks, and a bushy red tail. He was also very tall and muscular, and wore nothing but a pair of torn gray pants. As a shadow, Brocky took on a different color scheme, with black fur, glowing blue stripes, a black tail, a glowing blue under-jaw,and a smoky black mane.

As one of Rakan's servants, Brocky was deeply loyal to his master and was distraught to see him die in battle against the Shadow Monarch. He also took his duty to protect Gray, Rakan's heir and last living descendant, very seriously and was determined to groom him into a beast strong enough to succeed Rakan as the Monarch of Fangs.

However, after being brainwashed by the Itarim, Brocky became excessively arrogant, cruel, and self-absorbed. His belief in the survival of the fittest caused him to lose his respect for Rakan and made him think that the reason why his master died was because he was weak. It also caused him to become obsessed with growing stronger and even made him think that he was the only one worthy of becoming the next Monarch of Fangs. As a result of this ideology, Brocky became physically abusive towards Gray and eventually started drinking the latter's blood in order to make himself stronger.

Like most monsters, Brocky had little respect for humans and saw them as an inferior species to his own. As a result, he had no qualms using them as tools for his own ends in order to fulfill the orders that the Itarim had given him and mercilessly massacring them if they ever proved to be useless to his plans. However, it is not made clear if this trait was a part of his original personality or his brainwashed personality.

During the war with the Shadow Monarch, Brocky escaped the battlefield with Rakan's heir and took him into hiding so that their enemies wouldn't be able to find them. At some point before the start of the story, their hiding spot was discovered by Tiel, who brainwashed him into serving his cause and ordered him to bring him humans for his own gain. In order to fulfill these orders, Brocky eventually crossed over to the human world and arrived in Korea. Once he was there, he made a deal with the Hyena Guild so that they could bring him humans that he could hand over to the Apostles.

Sometime after Brocky's arrival in the human world, Suho discovered what the Hyena Guild was up to and engaged Brocky in battle. After a prolonged fight, Suho defeated and killed Brocky, causing the spell that Tiel had cast on him to break moments before his death and allow his original personality to return right before he died.

Later on, during his battle with a group of rogue demons who were using humans as sacrifices, Suho revived Brocky as a shadow soldier under his command. After they defeated the demons, Brocky helped Esil drag their bodies into the shadow dungeon so that Beru could inspect them.

• Enhanced Strength: Brocky possessed great physical strength, as shown by how he was able to tear through metal with ease and pummel Suho with his punches. Suho later noted that without Gray's help, he wouldn't have been able to win against Brocky in an one-on-one fight.

• Enhanced Speed: Brocky could move at great speeds, as shown by how Suho was barely able to react in time to his attacks.

• Enhanced Durability: Brocky possessed great physical durability, as shown by how he was able to withstand Suho's attacks (while the latter was using Beast Possession) for a considerable amount of time before finally going down.

• Conversation: Brocky was capable of speaking human languages.

• In the novel, Brocky was never brainwashed by the Itarim and willingly worked with them in order to achieve his own ambitions. He also used Gray's blood to forcefully awaken the members of the Hyena Guild and transform themselves into werewolves.

• In the novel, Brocky had a unique ability called Cruel Command, which enabled him to increase the strength of other beast-type monsters in the vicinity at the cost of their sanity. However, in the webtoon, this ability was given to Beru instead and renamed as "Harsh Orders."

• Brocky, like other Shadow Soldiers summoned by Suho eventually disappeared as Suho doesn't have the ability to retain the undead.

• Brocky in the light novel is also weakened from forcefully traveling through the gap between dimensions.
