Because of this, he treats Will Serfort—who cannot use magic—especially harshly, to the point of attacking him even when Will is unarmed.

His classmates from his own student days include Workner Norgram and Kureiruwi Sera, making the three of them a synchronized generation of powerful mages.

Despite being colleagues now, Workner in particular disapproves of how mercilessly Edward acts toward Will.
