Blitz Talker

Blitz Talker is designed as a "cool middle-aged guy." He usually wears tortoiseshell glasses (based on the character designer's drafts). He is often seen holding or shooting his signature revolver and is almost always depicted smoking.

Blitz Talker is calm and keeps a level head, thanks to his years as a detective.

He is very good at cool, logical thinking, which sometimes makes him seem cold.

This attitude earns him the dislike of Yūya Mirokuji, who says Blitz is annoying.

However, he also shows care by trying to avoid needless deaths and by advising others, like telling Alicetaria February to enjoy the real world more.

He tries to help others see the reality of their situations, as he did with Mamika Kirameki.

Blitz was once a detective and now works as a bounty hunter for the Flashlight Detective Agency.

He specializes in tracking demi-humans and engineered monsters.

He is a smoker.

Blitz is forever affected by being forced to end the life of his daughter, Erina Talker, after she was turned into a living power source by his creator, Shunma Suruga.

This sad event makes Blitz not show much longing for his original world, unlike other “created” characters.

He shares a bond with Ryūsuke Kannagi as colleagues and troublemaking friends.

Blitz's main weapon is his revolver, which he uses with regular bullets and special “gravity bullets.”

Gravity bullets are powerful—they can shatter magical shields created by Meteora Österreich and send targets flying.

He also wears a wristwatch that has a gravity control device.

With it, he can control anti-gravity and even float or fly in the air.

Blitz is skilled in analyzing situations and staying calm, especially under pressure.

• Ryūsuke Kannagi: His partner and close friend at the detective agency. They have a buddy relationship.
• Erina Talker: His daughter, for whom he holds deep feelings of regret and love. Her loss caused him great pain.
• Shunma Suruga: Blitz’s creator, whom he hates for forcing him into a cruel situation with his daughter.
• Alicetaria February: She thinks Blitz doesn’t have much affection for his own world, unlike others.
• Mamika Kirameki: Blitz tries to teach her about the real world’s harshness.

• Altair: Blitz understands her real plans and is drawn to her because her fragile heart reminds him of his daughter. This is why he helps her, but later becomes her enemy for Erina’s sake.
• Shō Hakua & Miharu: In "One More!," Blitz threatens Miharu to keep her out of the fight, hoping to protect outsiders.

Early Role as the Partner

Blitz Talker is introduced as Ryūsuke Kannagi's partner at the Flashlight Detective Agency. He specializes in hunting demi-humans and artificial monsters, using both his police smarts and unique weaponry. Blitz is always seen as calm and collected, using logical analysis to keep the team safe and focused.

The Past with Erina Talker

In Blitz's past, his daughter Erina was turned into a living power source by Shunma Suruga, his creator. Blitz was forced to end her life himself, which deeply affected him. This traumatic event made him seem emotionally distant, especially when compared to others like Mamika Kirameki who miss their original worlds.

Relationship with Other Characters

Blitz often clashes with Yūya Mirokuji because of his aloof attitude. He also tries to guide others, like warning Alicetaria February to enjoy reality, or showing Mamika Kirameki the truth about their harsh situation.

Decision to Help Altair

Blitz realizes early on what Altair's true plan is. Despite this, he helps her because her fragile heart is similar to his lost daughter’s, and he can’t turn his back on her—even knowing what she’s doing.

The Confrontation with Shunma Suruga

During the “Border World Colosseum” event, Blitz does not join the full battle. Instead, he goes after Shunma Suruga, wanting revenge for what happened to Erina. He shoots Suruga (who is wearing a bulletproof vest), and is shocked to meet Erina again, though he thought he ended her.

He learns that Suruga brought Erina back to move Blitz onto her side, which makes him angry. Despite this, Blitz puts aside his hate for Suruga to fight against Altair, so he can protect Erina. He teams up even with his old rival, Yūya Mirokuji, and brings Shō Hakua to his side to battle Altair’s forces.

Ending and Return

After everything is over, Blitz tells Suruga he still doesn’t trust her, even as she cheers him on. Blitz then returns to his own world with his daughter, Erina. Afterwards, there’s a poster showing an “another story,” with Blitz and Ryūsuke Kannagi holding guns and Erina with them, standing strong.

“One More!” Side Story

In "One More!" (between episodes 15A and 15B), Blitz confronts Miharu when she tries to work with Shō Hakua. He threatens Miharu with his revolver, calling her an outsider, and leads Shō away to make sure she’s not pulled into the conflict. Blitz seems to care about keeping innocent people away from the mess, even if it means using scary tactics.
