Becoming the Prefect
Edgar Redmond became the Scarlet Fox Dorm Prefect one year ago.
He welcomed Derrick as his underclassman (Fag).
Soon, Derrick’s bullying of younger students is revealed, showing Derrick’s true, cruel nature.
The Dark Secret and the Thursday Incident
Derrick was originally Edgar’s talented underclassman.
One day, a mysterious poem in the school suggestion box asks the Prefects to meet in the music room after lights-out on Thursday.
Edgar and the other Prefects follow the hint and find Derrick and other older students bullying underclassmen horribly.
Derrick confesses that all his achievements were stolen from others and acts proud about it.
He boldly claims hurting others is just a way to relieve stress, asking the Prefects to keep quiet.
Murder and Cover-Up
Herman Greenhill becomes furious at Derrick’s attitude and kills him with a cricket bat.
Then, in the heat of the moment, others involved in bullying, as well as Vice Principal Johann Agares (who was protecting Derrick), are killed too.
Gregory Violet blocks the door, and Edgar and Lawrence Bluewer restrain Agares so Greenhill can take action.
Edgar tries to calm Greenhill, saying, “This is fine. No, this is the only way it could be.”
The group agrees to hide the incident, believing they are protecting the school’s tradition.
Seeking Help
Edgar turns to his uncle Viscount Druitt and the Aurora Society for help to revive Derrick and the others who were killed.
Undertaker, a funeral director, helps with this.
The revived victims return as Bizarre Dolls—zombie-like creatures that even attack Greenhill.
Fallout and Expulsion
When the truth comes out, all P4 members, including Edgar, are expelled from Weston College.
The deaths are officially blamed on a “boating accident,” and the matter is hushed up.
New Prefects are chosen from among the remaining underclassmen.
Aftermath and S4
Later, in the Blue Cult Arc, Edgar and the other former P4s reappear as S4, performing as a choir group at Sphere Music Hall.
They sing and entertain fans, much like modern-day pop idols.
