When a huge Void monster strikes the town again, this time with mini-Voids copied from Natsuko Hirose's drawings, things get worse.

Following Tap’s lead, Natsuko Hirose tries to create new things at her desk, but pressure and the words from Director Bird (Tsuruyama Kame-Tarō) haunt her, leaving her unable to draw.

Friends are hurt one after another, and Unio even prepares for a self-destruct spell.

A missile from the Void destroys the desk, and the explosion sends Natsuko Hirose flying.

She survives with only minor wounds, but losing her desk leaves her desperate and hopeless.

QJ's Sacrifice

QJ rushes to her side, worried.

Seeing there’s almost no hope, QJ gives her a soft smile, telling her, "Natsuko, please make sure to give everyone a happy ending."

He then charges alone into the giant Void, managing to get inside while injured.

There, with both the large Void and its minions, QJ self-destructs, giving up his life to save everyone.

Aftermath and Return

Meanwhile, Memmeln tries to secretly restore QJ with forbidden magic, helped by Meg and Sally.

As Voids attack the city, Memmeln leaves the task to Meg and Sally, who succeed in fixing QJ but lose their own lives when debris falls on them.

Brought back, QJ helps Natsuko Hirose as she keeps drawing in the dark to save Luke Braveheart, shining his light to guide her hands.

When new Soul Futures appear in many lands, QJ is the one who announces the news with a smile.

The last scene shows QJ with Luke Braveheart, Unio, and Memmeln arriving in the real world, ending as Natsuko Hirose notices them.
