After Ichigo Momomiya and Mint Aizawa confronted her, Retasu’s powers went out of control due to pent-up frustration.

Freed from her bullies, Retasu gained true friends.

The Cruise Trip

On a luxury cruise, Retasu was comforted by Ryou Shirogane during a difficult time, which sparked her feelings for him.

Timetravel and Confession

In the reboot, Retasu and Ryou went on a recon mission together involving a mysterious earring believed to be connected to Mew Aqua.

During a battle, they fell into the sea and the earring’s power sent them back to the ancient past.

Retasu was cared for by Madeleine, who inspired Retasu to confess her feelings.

After returning to the present, Retasu told Ryou how she felt.

Ryou explained that he could not return her feelings, and Retasu learned to accept her heartbreak.

Zakuro is the only teammate aware of Retasu's confession.

Retasu found closure regarding her feelings and started working joyfully with her friends.
