Merry

He is the butler working at Kaya's mansion and also the designer of the Going Merry. He is a man with a face resembling a sheep. He receives deep trust from Kaya and is extremely loyal himself. Twenty-two years ago, he drew the blueprints for the Merry. He also has detailed knowledge about the background of Usopp's morning shouting routine. At first, he was strict with Usopp, but after the Kuro incident, he came to acknowledge him. His birthday is January 22.

When Usopp spoke about the truth behind Kuro and the plan to assassinate Kaya, he did not believe Usopp’s story and drove him off, but later that night, he was critically injured by Kuro. Fortunately, he recovered and entrusted the Going Merry to Luffy and his crew.
