Sai Kawamoto

She is the wife of Someji Kawamoto and the mother of Misaki and Mikako Kawamoto. By the beginning of the story, she has already passed away. She was a diligent person who deeply cared for her family, and together with her daughter Mikako Kawamoto and Someji Kawamoto, she managed the Mikazukidou confectionery shop. She was meticulous by nature and highly skilled at adding creative touches to her cooking. She taught these techniques to her daughters, and they are now passed down to Akari Kawamoto and her sisters.
